JASPER — The Jasper Police Department took a man into custody last week for allegedly exposing himself in public.
Police were called to the 700 block of Second Street the afternoon of Monday, Nov. 18, when a female employee at a place of business reported a male had exposed himself to her while in the establishment.
The resulting investigation led to Weston D. Rust, 28, 919 E. 15th St., Jasper, being located and taken into custody in the area.
Police allege Rust, who complained of a medical issue while being arrested, was found to have a controlled substance in his possession.
Rust was transported for treatment to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, according to authorities. Once he was medically cleared, Rust was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 2:41 p.m. Friday on preliminary misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure and possession of a controlled substance.
