Man accused of felony intimidation

HUNTINGBURG — Police arrested a Huntingburg man and booked him into jail Monday for alleged intimidation.

The Huntingburg Police Department began an investigation Monday afternoon after being dispatched to do a welfare check.

As a result, police allege that, on June 16, Matthew J. Spindler, 29, 406 N. Walnut St., Huntingburg, made threats that were criminal in nature.

Authorities booked Spindler into the Dubois County Security Center at 12:50 p.m. Monday on a preliminary Level 5 felony count of intimidation.
