JASPER — Police arrested a Jasper man Monday evening, accusing him of felony domestic battery.
The Jasper Police Department was dispatched at 7:30 p.m. to the report of an altercation that had taken place in the 1600 block of Newton Street.
One of the individuals at the scene had visible injury, according to police. That person, an adult woman, was transported for treatment at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jonathan S. Holt, 42, 1622 Newton St., Jasper
Authorities booked Holt into the Dubois County Security Center at 1:41 a.m. today on a preliminary Level 5 felony count of domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury.
Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services assisted.
