JASPER — Police arrested a man Wednesday, accusing him of domestic battery, strangulation and criminal confinement.
The Jasper Police Department responded to the report of a domestic dispute in the city at 4:51 a.m.
Police say a female complainant exhibited visible injury at the scene. The woman had sought the assistance of a juvenile who was present in contacting police during the incident.
After investigating, police arrested Yordany Salvador, 32, 550 Kirkwood Drive, Jasper.
Authorities booked Salvador into the Dubois County Security Center at 2:28 p.m. on preliminary Level 6 felony counts of domestic battery, strangulation and criminal confinement.
