Man accused in failure-to-return warrant

JASPER — A man named in a warrant for allegedly failing to return to lawful detention was located and jailed Wednesday.

Justin P. King, 29, Dubois, logged out of the Dubois County Community Corrections Center on Dec. 8, 2018, but did not report to work and did not return to the center, violating his work release agreement, according to court documents.

A warrant for his arrest on a Level 6 felony count of failure to return to lawful detention was issued Dec. 12 in Dubois Circuit Court and, at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday, authorities booked him into the Dubois County Security Center on the active warrant.
