Madison Gogel of Fulda and Max Rickelman of Ferdinand exchanged wedding vows at 2 p.m. on Aug. 22, 2020. The ceremony was held at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fulda and was officiated by Father Anthony Vinson, OSB.
The bride is the daughter of Jan and Julie Gogel of Fulda. She is a 2015 graduate of Heritage Hills High School and 2018 graduate of Caris College, where she earned a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She is currently a sonographer at Harrison County Hospital.
The groom is the son of Tony and Amy Rickelman of Ferdinand. He is a 2014 graduate of Forest Park High School and a 2016 graduate of VUJC, where he earned a degree in Electronics Technology.
The bride wore a polyester sheath gown featuring a high neckline and a plunging open back with a sweep train. The gown was accompanied by a royal length veil that was lined with lace appliques. Matrons of honor were Kyla Weiss, sister of the bride, and Kelsey Terry, friend of the bride. The bride chose as her bridesmaids Miranda Miller, Madison Knies, Mackenzie Episcopo, Ally Waninger, Jordan Roberts, and Alicia Westerfield. Bridesmaids wore emerald green dresses with a silhouette of the choosing. Miniature bride was Reid Fischer, close family friend. Miniature bridesmaids were Lexie Tretter, Katie Tretter, and Kamie Tretter, cousins of the groom; and Carly Cassidy and Katie Cassidy, cousins of the bride.
The best men were Jake Rickelman, brother of the groom, and Blake ALtmann, friend of the groom. The groom chose as his groomsmen Jeff Weiss, brother-in-law of the bride; and Tyler Recker, Ben Englert, Bryce Bettag, and Tristan Begle, friends of the groom. Junior groomsmen were Shane Zimmerman and Trent Zimmerman, cousins of the bride; and Aiden Fisher and Abner Fisher, close family friends.
A reception was held at the Fulda Sportman’s Club in Fulda.
