Maddison Beckman and Andrew Englert exchanged wedding vows at 2 p.m. on Oct. 5, 2019, in St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony. Father Christopher Droste officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Karen Beckman of St. Anthony. The groom is the son of Randy Englert of Ferdinand and JoAnne Englert of Ferdinand.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a matte satin, ivory ball gown by Justin Alexander with a Sabrina neckline, an illusion lace back and a chapel-length train.
Music for the ceremony was provided by organist Traci Catt.
Saree and Sagan Sturgeon and Saige and Rilynn Bolen, cousins of the bride, distributed programs and handed out bubbles following the ceremony.
The bride chose her sister, Natosha Messmer, of St. Anthony as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Autaumn Gogel of Huntingburg, Makenna Graham of Columbus, Shannon Anderson of Boston and Taylor Tretter of Louisville, all friends of the couple; Annie Beckman of Noblesville, sister-in-law of the bride; Laura Messmer of Jasper, cousin of the bride; and Jessica Englert of Ferdinand and Rachel Workman of Schnellville, sisters of the groom. The miniature bridesmaid was Hailey Workman of Schnellville, niece of the groom. The flower girl was Lyla Workman, niece of the groom.
The groom chose his cousin, Jesse Horsting, of St. Anthony as best man. The groomsmen were Vaughn Buechler of Ferdinand, Phillip Hautsch of Jasper, Heath Howe of Ferdinand, Tyler Huff of Schnellville and Mitchel Lampert of St. Anthony, all friends of the couple; Jeffrey Horsting of St. Anthony, godfather of the groom; Samuel Beckman of St. Anthony and Marcus Beckman of Noblesville, brothers of the bride; and Lance Messmer of St. Anthony, brother-in-law of the bride.
A reception was held at the St. Anthony Community Center in St. Anthony. Music was provided by Special Delivery DJ.
The couple took a wedding trip to explore Iceland for two weeks and are living in Huntingburg.
The bride is a 2014 graduate of Forest Park High School, Ferdinand, and a 2017 graduate of Indiana State University, Terre Haute. She is an operations analyst for OFS in Huntingburg.
Mr. Englert is a 2012 graduate of Forest Park High School, Ferdinand. He is the parts manager for Uebelhor & Sons Chevrolet in Jasper.
