Lounge Series returns in MarchFebruary 24, 2020
JASPER — The Lounge Series, Season 8, will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays at the Trinity United Church of Christ’s Lounge, 310 W. Eighth St.
The Lounge Series is a tribe of community volunteers providing a safe environment to help like-minded individuals become empowered through holistic education.
Alchemy Then and Now will be presented on March 5. Discover the basic historical versus contemporary theories and techniques for preparation and use of medicinal herbal remedies. The presenter is Timothy A. Wilkerson, author of “Herbal Alchemy and Spagyrics.”
Soul Injury is scheduled for March 19. Learn to liberate unmourned loss and hurt, unforgiven guilt and shame, and diminished self-compassion to restore personal peace. Sue Gibson RN, CHPN, Opus Peace-approved instructor, will present the program.
Essential Oils 101 will be held on April 2. Identify the main essential oils that should be in a person’s health arsenal and understand how to use them safely and effectively. The program will be -resented by Patty Ruhe, ADN, CA, MS, Owner Forest Fresh, LLC
Believe — If You Want To will be presented on April 16. Participants will renew and invigorate their thoughts on life’s truly amazing gifts as they are inspired to go deeper into their own life’s path. The presenter is Rick Hayes, psychic medium/life coach at LifesGift, Inc. Seating is limited, reservations are required.
Tree Spirits and Wood Wisdom is scheduled for Thursday, April 30. Stop to consider the incredible power of trees, the “Standing People,” our planetary partners in healing, protection and more. Thomas Freese, author of “Tree Spirits and Wood Wisdom,” will be the presenter.
