Loraine Edna Zink, 70, of Jasper, formerly of Huntingburg, passed away at 9:01 a.m., Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.
She was born March 8, 1948, in Huntingburg, to James and Mildred (Wright) Throop. Loraine worked as a convenience store clerk. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Tonya Rochelle Carlquist, who passed away in 2014.
She is survived by one son, Brandon Zink of Jasper; two brothers, Gene Throop of Birdseye and Allen Throop of Indianapolis; and by three grandchildren.
A private memorial for Loraine Edna Zink will be held at a later date.
Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.
