Lois Moffatt, 87, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at her residence.
She was born in Crawford County on June 1, 1931, to Jesse Freeman Mathers and Nellie “Gott” Mathers.
Lois married Raymond Moffatt on June 25, 1950, and he survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Carol “Susie” Moffatt; one brother, James Mathers; and three sisters, Lelah Beatrice, Mina Mae Mathers and Dorothy Lee Atkins.
Lois is survived by her husband, Raymond Moffatt, French Lick; three sons, Jim Moffatt (Hazel), Adairsville, Georgia, Steve Moffatt, French Lick, and Jerry Moffatt, Jasper; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Ceremony will be 11 a.m. on Monday, December 24, at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Harned Chapel Cemetery in English, Indiana.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, and 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday, December 24, at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service, 9640 W. State Rd. 56 French Lick.
