Local students receive scholarships

Three local students were among the 14 to earn 2021 scholarships from TrueScripts Management Services.

TrueScripts awards scholarships to all full-time undergraduate students of its team members. The scholarship program commenced in the Fall of 2017, with $1,250 provided to students for each enrolled semester.

The following are local scholarship winners.

Hannah Kluemper is a 2021 graduate of Jasper High School. She is currently a Freshman at Purdue University, majoring in Nursing. Hannah is the daughter of Jim and Amanda Kluemper. Her mother is an Account Coordinator at TrueScripts.

Tyler Kluemper is a 2019 graduate of Jasper High School. He is currently a Junior at Purdue University, majoring in Nursing. Tyler is the son of Jim and Amanda Kluemper. His mother is an Account Coordinator at TrueScripts.

Lindsey Mehringer is a 2018 graduate of Jasper High School. She is currently continuing her education at Indiana University, where she is part of the Nursing School class of 2022. After graduation, she plans to move to Indianapolis and hopes to work at Riley Hospital for Children. She is the proud daughter of Gary and Brenda Mehringer. Her father is a Business Analyst at TrueScripts.

Several other students also earned scholarships.

Allison Boyd is a 2021 graduate of Washington High School and is currently enrolled in her freshman year at Purdue University in the Aviation Management Program. Allison is the daughter of Hannah and Ronald Boyd of Washington, Indiana. Her mother is a Clinical Care Representative at TrueScripts.

Nick Coy is a 2021 graduate of Washington High School. As a High School Senior, Nick participated in the Twin Rivers Career & Technical Education Cooperative’s Welding program through Vincennes University and is continuing with VU’s Welding Technology Department as a college student. Nick is the son of Shane & Chasity Matthews. His mother is the Sr. Director of Business Development at TrueScripts.

Alexandria Huebner is a 2018 graduate of Edgewood High School. She completed one year of general studies at Ivy Tech and has since transferred to the University of Southern Indiana to carry out her studies in Social Work. Now a Senior at USI, Alex will graduate in May with her BSW. She aspires to pursue her master’s degree in Social Work with hopes to work with troubled youth. Alex is the stepdaughter of Jaime Huebner. Her stepmother is the Team Lead of Clinical Care at TrueScripts.

Nate Kaffenberger is a 2018 graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High School, where he earned 42 credit hours through Vincennes University’s Early College Credit Program. Nate is currently a Senior at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Electrical Engineering with a Power Certificate. Nate is the son of Alan and Beth Kaffenberger. His father is the Director of Clinical Programs and Compliance at TrueScripts.

Lauren Kenworthy is a 2020 graduate of Washington High School. She is attending Ivy Tech Community College to study Business Operations, Applications, and Technology. Lauren is the daughter of Mindy and Ryan Kenworthy. Her mother is the Client Reporting and Billing Specialist at TrueScripts.

Hallie Leischner is a 2020 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. She has chosen to continue her education at the University of Southern Indiana, where she is majoring in Dental Hygiene. Hallie is the daughter of Anne and Shannon Leischner. Her mother is an Account Manager at TrueScripts.

Gracie Madison is a Freshman and Presidential Scholar at the University of Southern Indiana, where she is studying Marketing, with a potential Minor in Spanish. Gracie is involved in the USI Marketing Club on campus and is the Promotions Director of the on-campus radio station. Before college, Gracie graduated in the Academic Top Ten of her class at Barr-Reeve High School, where she also served as President of her class. Gracie was a 10-year Daviess County 4-H Member and, during her Junior and Senior years, ran her own air freshener business that she created through the Daviess County CEO class. Gracie plans to open her own Marketing agency someday.

Emily Matthews is a 2018 graduate of Washington High School. In December of 2020, she graduated with her degree in Law Enforcement from Vincennes University. In January of 2021, Emily went on to IUPUI to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Forensics. Emily is the daughter of Shane and Chasity Matthews. Her mother is the Sr. Director of Business Development at TrueScripts.

Hannah Matthews graduated from Washington High School in 2018 and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architectural Design at Indiana State University. Hannah is the daughter of Shane and Chasity Matthews. Her mother is the Sr. Director of Business Development at TrueScripts.

Jaden Pfoff is a 2018 graduate of Lincoln High School in Vincennes. She completed her degrees in Graphic Design and Art from Vincennes University in the spring of 2021. Jaden is the daughter of Susan Laughlin. Her mother is the Specialty Care Coordinator at TrueScripts.

Jaren Pfoff is a 2019 graduate of Lincoln High School in Vincennes. She attends the University of Evansville and is working towards a master’s degree in Health Services Administration, with a minor in Spanish. Jaren is the daughter of Susan Laughlin. Her mother is the Specialty Care Coordinator at TrueScripts.
