Lisa Nicole Knust and Jared Steven Huff exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. on March 14, 2020, in Divine Mercy Parish-St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony. Father Christopher Droste officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Rhonda Knust of St. Anthony. The groom is the son of Steve and Mary Huff of St. Anthony.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory and champagne lace Allure Romance gown with added straps and silver threads throughout.
Music for the ceremony was provided by organist Dan Racicot and vocalist Leslie Luebbehusen.
The bride chose her sister, Kayla Knust of St. Anthony as maid of honor and her cousin, Rachel Mangiacapra of Cox Creek, New York, as matron of honor. Jessica Huff of Clemson, South Carlina, sister of the groom; Sarah Goepfrich of Evansville and Kelly Tinkley of Shoals, cousins of the bride; and Chelsea Hammer of Greenwood and Audra Buechler of Huntingburg, friends of the bride, were bridesmaids. The flower girl was Stella Engle of St. Anthony, godchild of the bride.
The bridesmaids wore gowns by Christina Wu in misty and slate blue.
The mother of the bride wore a silver, floor-length gown. The mother of the groom wore a navy blue, floor-length gown.
Mr. Huff chose friends Jace Rasche of St. Anthony and Brandon Schaefer of Ferdinand as best men. Ed Gree of Clemson, South Carolina, Zach Hochesang and Mitch Atkins, both of St. Anthony, and Garrett Nale of Ferdinand, friends of the groom, and Lucas Kerstiens of Huntingburg, friend of the groom and cousin of the bride, were groomsmen. The ring bearer was Beau Gress of Jasper, cousin of the bride.
A reception was held at the Ferdinand Community Center.
The couple will take a wedding trip to St. Lucia in the future and is living in St. Anthony.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of Forest Park High School, Ferdinand, and a 2015 graduate of Indiana University Southeast, New Albany. She teaches second grade at Pine Ridge Elementary School, Birdseye.
Mr. Huff is a 2007 graduate of Forest Park High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville. He works for Kimball International, Jasper.
