Lisa Estrada and Craig Schlachter exchanged wedding vows on Sept. 29, 2018, at Destiny’s Garden in Amarillo, Texas. Clergy Alyssa Schlachter, sister-in-law of the groom, officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Roy Estrada of Fritch, Texas, and Sylvia Estrada of Amarillo. The groom is the son of Mark and Jacque Schlachter of Ferdinand.
The wedding venue was decorated in red, gold and white.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless red ballroom gown and a white lace veil. She carried red, gold and white flowers.
The bride chose friend Brianna Fuentes of Dallas, Texas, as maid of honor. Friends Robert Bustamante and Karlos Dyer of Amarillo, Joshua Morris of Oklahoma City, and Isaac Contreras of Corpus Christi, Texas, were bride attendants.
The maid of honor wore an antique gold gown.
The mother of the bride chose a floor-length gown in plum. The mother of the groom wore a floor-length gown in black with a silver and gold bodice.
Mr. Schlachter chose his cousin, Derek Schlachter of Ferdinand, as best man. Brett Schlachter of Indianapolis, brother of the groom; Kyle Schlachter of Bloomington, brother of the groom; and friends Josh Weyer of Indianapolis, Will Swift of Pampa, Texas, and Ben Sollman of Chattanooga, Tennessee, were groomsmen.
A reception was held at Destiny’s Garden.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Tascosa High School in Amarillo, and earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Amarillo College in 2017. She is a registered nurse at BSA Hospital in Amarillo.
Mr. Schlachter is a 2008 graduate of Forest Park High School, Ferdinand, and a received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering in 2013 from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute. He is a professional structural design engineer at National Oilwell Varco, Pampa, Texas.
