Lions radio auction starts Monday

JASPER — The Lions Club of Jasper will kick off its 58th live radio auction on Monday, Sept. 9, and will continue it through Friday, Sept. 13. The auction will begin at 5:30 p.m. and continues until 7 p.m. on Radio Station WITZ, 104.7 FM.

Most auction items can be viewed on the Lions FaceBook page, Jasper Indiana Lions Club. Items range from small personal things to larger pieces of furniture and even vacation trip destinations.

Phone bids will be taken nightly from the auction’s start at 5:30 p.m. and will continue until the bell rings at 7 p.m. Bidders may call in at 812-482-5955 or they can join the auction live at the Dubois County Museum and bid in person.

The main goal of the Lions Club is to provide eye care and vision awareness to the communities served by the Jasper Lions. For questions about the club or the auction, call Patty Wollenmann at 812-631-0528.
