Linda Lou Bockelman 73, formerly of JasperJuly 5, 2021
Linda Lou Bockelman 73, formerly of Jasper, Indiana passed away at her home and went to the Kingdom of God to live in Paradise forever, on Thursday June 17th 2021.
She was born on March 23rd, 1948 to the late Sylvester and Alice (Wehr) Bockelman in Jasper, IN.
She was a graduate of Jasper High School class of 1966 and owned a cleaning service. Linda was known for her artistic talents especially with her sketches and oil paintings. She was the author of “Tapestry of Tales” a book of poems.
She was a kind, sweet and beautiful devout Christian and a member of the Jehovah Witness faith who loved swimming, cooking and entertaining and shopping.
Surviving are three sisters, Darlene Plog of Port Charlotte, Florida, Joyce Nonte (Tim) of Patoka, IN, Donna Gillman (Charlie) of Batesville, IN. One brother Jerry Bockelman of Evansville, IN. and four nieces and ten nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Janice Miller, one nephew Adam Bellner, sister-in-law Judy Bockelman, brother-in-laws Bob Miller and Raymond Plog.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
