Linda G. “Gayle” Lohman, 79, Huntingburg
August 27, 2020Linda G. “Gayle” Lohman, age 79, of Huntingburg, passed away at 5:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Ferdinand.

She was born April 4, 1941, in Perry County, to Leonard Adolph and Ethel Ruth (Hall) Flamion; and married William Frederick “Bill” Lohman on September 10, 1960, in Huntingburg. Gayle was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post #2366 and Holland American Legion Auxiliary. She retired as manager from Dubois Lanes in Huntingburg. Gayle enjoyed spending time with family, bowling, camping, puzzles and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Lohman, who passed away on May 22, 2015; her parents, and by one brother, Gary Flamion.
She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline (Mark) Schlachter and Lori (Patrick) Fromme both of Ferdinand; one son, Kevin (Jackie) Lohman of Holland; two sisters, Pamela Niehaus of Washington and Debra Flamion of Jasper; two brothers Randall Flamion of Holland and Danny Flamion of Huntingburg; by nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Linda G. “Gayle” Lohman will be held at 10:00 a.m. E.D.T., Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
Friends may call for visitation from 2:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, August 31st at the funeral home. The V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post #2366 with hold a service at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post #2366, Fairmount Cemetery or the Lange Fuhs Cancer Center.
