Linda Dianne Clifton, 62, Loogootee, formerly of Shoals, died at 9:20 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, at her home.
She was born in Bloomington on July 19, 1951, to Ralph and Beatrice (Tow) Erwin. She married Floyd Clifton in September 1978, and he died in 2012.
Surviving are five sons, Michael Wayne Clifton, David Shane Lents, Jason Todd Lents and wife Mary, Brian Eugene Clifton and wife Toni and Cory Lee Lents and companion Devin Dorsett, all of Shoals; her companion, Mike McLaughlin; a sister, Brenda McCauley of Shoals, a brother, Chad Erwin of Jasper; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Michael Erwin, and a sister, Norma Erwin.
Mrs. Clifton was a graduate of Shoals High School and worked at the Jasper Walmart for 15 years.
She was a member of Shoals American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2442 Auxiliary and Shoals Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Shoals.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
