Lincoln memorial reopens

From Local Sources

LINCOLN CITY — Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial reopened to visitors today. It closed Oct. 1 because of a lapse in congressional appropriations.

Visitors can access public areas and roads immediately while facilities and other public services are brought back online, according to Superintendent Kendell Thompson.

“We are excited happy to be back at work and welcome visitors to Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial,” Thompson said. “Autumn is a particularly special season to enjoy all that the park has to offer.”

For more information, call the park at 937-4541.
