Library partners with Three Wishes for Ruby’s ResidentsDecember 9, 2020
By Herald Staff
The Huntingburg Public Library is partnering with "Three Wishes for Ruby's Residents" this holiday season. Their purpose is to fulfill small wishes and decrease loneliness to nursing home seniors across America. With the current pandemic, many seniors are without the comfort of family or friends due to limited or no visitation.
This service project is open to all ages and consists of writing a letter and/or coloring a picture. You can pick up the needed materials at the circulation desks, and when you have finished, return it to the library and the library will mail it to the nursing home residents and seniors. If you would like to participate in this project, stop by the Huntingburg Public Library or call for more information, 812-683-2052.
