Library hosts free Celtic concert

DUBOIS —Dubois Branch Library, 5506 E. Main St., will sponsor a free Celtic music concert from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8.

Emily Ann Thompson will perform fast, high-energy jigs and reels to captivating airs and songs. She performs traditional Irish, Scottish, and Canadian fiddle tunes, sings in English and Irish Gaelic, and clogs while fiddling. Thompson’s husband, Kelly, joins her on guitar, percussion and vocals.

The couple tours nationally and has performed more than 1,000 shows together since 2009, including two tours in Ireland.
