Library hosts Alzheimer’s program

JASPER — The Jasper Public Library and the Alzheimer’s Association will be hosting an Alzheimer’s awareness program at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in the Jasper Library Annex, 1103 Main St..

Program attendees will be educated on the symptoms of Alzheimer’s and what to watch for in themselves and others. The one-hour program covers typical age-related changes, common warning signs of Alzheimer’s, how to approach someone about memory concerns, early detection, the benefits of a diagnosis and the diagnostic process, and Alzheimer’s Association resources.
