Libraries closed until further noticeApril 6, 2020
From Local Sources
The Jasper-Dubois County Contractual Library will be closed until further notice due to Gov. Eric Holcomb’s extension of the stay-at-home order.
The drop boxes are also closed, and the due dates on all checked-out items have been extended to May 4. Wi-Fi is still available in the outdoor areas surrounding the library branches in Birdseye, Dubois, Ferdinand and Jasper. The library also has an extensive collection of online databases and e-materials accessible with a library card.
Questions can be emailed to Library Director Christine Golden at firstname.lastname@example.org or sent via chat on the library’s website and Facebook pages.
The Huntingburg Public Library is also closed at this time.
