Let's Take A Walk

Once a month, the Ferdinand Elementary School’s wellness committee sponsors an optional walk-to-school day in which about 100 students generally participate. This morning, the committee held a schoolwide walk to school, in which the entire student body of about 316 students walked from the Tri-County YMCA to the Ferdinand school together. Students were dropped off at the YMCA before making the nearly half-mile walk.
