Leslie Betz and Dustin Begle exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 21, 2017, in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church-Divine Mercy Parish in Schnellville. Father John Brosmer officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony.
The bride if the daughter of Myron and Donna Betz of Schnellville. The groom is the son of Paul and Connie Begle of Mariah Hill.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a strapless white, A-frame gown with a sweetheart top and a back lined with buttons. The gown featured a satin base with an outer chiffon layer decorated in diamonds, pearls, sequins and floral accents.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Traci Catt of Jasper. Katelyn Sander and Ashley Sander of Ireland registered guests.
The bride chose Shelby Betz of Vincennes as maid of honor and Katrina Cochenor of Dale as matron of honor. Bridesmaides were Jamie Knies of Birdseye, Jordan Theising of Schnellville, Stephanie Begle of Evanston, Alli Betz of Evansville, Katelyn Lampert of Haysville and Clara Sander and Sara Breitwieser, both of Jasper. Bree Mobley was flower girl.
The bridesmaids wore pleated, halter-top dresses in navy with crystals around the neckline and waist.
Mr. Begle chose Derek Begle of Evanston as best man. Groomsmen were Shawn Sherman of St. Meinrad, Phillip Messmer of Santa Claus, Josh Berg of Evanston, Aaron Cochenour of Buffaloville, Eric Betz of Evansville and Matthew and Scott Betz, both of Schnellville. Ushers were Chris Cochenour of Dale, Michael Lueken of Ferdinand and Nick Jochem of St. Henry. Terry Oeding of Evanston was ring bearer.
The mother of the bride wore a silver satin dress with a natural print jacket. The mother of the groom wore a lavendar satin dress with floral accents around the bust.
A reception was held at the Celestine Community Club in Celestine, with music by Starstruck DJ Service.
Following a wedding trip to Canada, the couple is at home in Santa Claus.
The bride is a 2012 graduate of Northeast Dubois High School, Dubois, 2014 and 2015 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in health science/health service and an Associate of Health Science Degree to become a certified occupational therapy assistant. She is employed by Rehabcare and Schwartz Building Materials.
The groom is 2009 graduate of Hertitage Hills High School, Lincoln City. He drives for Tri State Live Haul of Huntingburg and works on the family farm, Mariah Hill Livestock.
