Leroy Dalton, 81, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at U of L Hospital, Louisville, Kentucky.
He was born in Orange County on January 1, 1939, to Harry Everett and Hazel Irene (Morgan) Dalton. Leroy married Barbara Jones on December 12, 1969, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Leroy was a 1957 graduate of West Baden High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves.
He retired from Smithville Telephone after 42 years, where he had worked as a supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Dalton, French Lick; three sons, Mark Dalton (Elizabeth), French Lick, Joel Dalton (Amanda), West Baden Springs, and Tom Dalton (Ashley Line), French Lick; two daughters, Shelley Beaty (Rick), West Baden Springs, and Eve Lynn Dalton Arlington, Virginia; 21 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Ceremony will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in French Lick.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.
