Left-of-center driver taken into custody

HUNTINGBURG — A left-of-center driver was arrested and accused of impaired driving late Saturday night.

A Huntingburg Police Department officer stopped a Toyota RAV4 driven by Saul S. Calderon Bobadilla, 33, 414 W. 19th St., after observing the southbound vehicle cross the centerline into the northbound lane of Chestnut Street at 10th Street at 11:48 p.m.

Police allege Calderon Bobadilla’s blood alcohol content tested .15% at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.

Authorities booked Calderon Bobadilla into the Dubois County Security Center at 1:47 a.m. Sunday on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated. He posted bond early Sunday afternoon.
