Learn about nurse practitioners, care
February 24, 2020JASPER — A presentation on Nurse Practitioners and Your Medical Care will be given from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Thursday, March 12, in the Medical Arts Building Conference Center, 721 West 13th St.
Nurse Practitioners collaborate with physicians to provide medical care to individuals, but what exactly are the services provided by nurse practitioners?
Jessica Zehr, FNP-C, will give the presentation. Zehr is a graduate of Northeast Dubois High School. She received her Licensed Practical Nursing and Associate of Science in Nursing degrees from Vincennes University Jasper and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN), Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Ball State University, and is currently working toward a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Chamberlain University. Zehr has worked as a family nurse practitioner for eight years, and currently works at Memorial Health St. Charles in Jasper.
A free dinner will be included, and preregistration is required.
