Learn about life without electricity

LINCOLN CITY — Visitors to the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial will have the opportunity to find out how the pioneers like the Lincolns lived in the 1820s without electricity from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 when interpreters and volunteers staff the cabin.

Participants will see and hear how spinning and storytelling was done with a cabin illuminated by candles and lamps.
