Lasher gets 100th career victory

From Herald Staff Reports

The Dubois County Bombers climbed back to the .500 mark and head coach Andy Lasher received his 100th win as head coach in last night’s 13-5 victory at Fulton.

After the first few innings seesawed back-and-forth with neither team gaining much of an advantage, the Bombers used a big four-run fourth inning to help take a 9-4 lead and would go on to score four more runs in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to put the game away for good and send Lasher to a monumental 100th career victory. Lasher has been the head coach of the Bombers for the past five seasons.

John McDonald had three, yes, three home runs in the victory while Tanner Craig, Gavin Napier and Nolan Ramsey also each had homers.

Jack Anderson got the victory on the mound for the Bombers as he pitched six innings while striking out nine batters and walking just one.
