Lane restriction scheduled near French Lick
September 12, 2019From Local Sources
FRENCH LICK — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a lane restriction scheduled for State Road 56 from French Lick to Prospect.
Beginning on or around Monday, contractors will begin restricting State Road 56 from Plum Street in French Lick to the west junction of U.S. 150 in Prospect. The total work zone will span just under two miles. During this project, workers will patch and resurface this area of pavement.
Restrictions will be in place daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., weather permitting, with work to be finished in early November. Inclement weather could cause delays in the project timeline. While the project is active, motorists should leave extra time to get to their destination and avoid distractions while driving in the work zone.
INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
