Lana L. Lanman, 77, Huntingburg
May 27, 2020Lana L. Lanman, 77, of Huntingburg, passed away on May 24, 2020, at her residence.

She was born August 9, 1942, in Bristow to James “Eck” and Ida (Taylor) Lanman.
Lana received her Bachelor’s degree from Oakland City College and her Master’s degree from the University of Evansville, both in Elementary Education. She was a teacher for the Southwest Dubois County School Corporation for 43 years, working at Maple Park and Huntingburg Elementary.
She was a member of the Little Pigeon Primative Baptist Church in Lincoln City.
Lana enjoyed sewing, computers, reading, decorating and Indiana history.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Everett, Ervin and Cliston Lanman; and six sisters, Evelyn Gaines, Irma Wright, Ruth Jones, Ruby Klem, Betty Egbert and Dorothy Murphy.
Lana is survived by one brother, Flavis (Judy) Lanman of Huntingburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Private services for Lana L. Lanman will be held at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg, with burial to follow in the Bristow Cemetery.
