Knies wins Holy Trinity spelling bee

JASPER — Holy Trinity Catholic School held its spelling bee on Thursday, Dec. 3. The school’s winner is Stella Knies, a fifth-grader in Mrs. Kelly Schaefer’s homeroom class. Her parents are Grant and Krista Knies of Jasper. Addison Schnell, an eighth-grader in Miss Kristin Gutgsell’s homeroom, was runner-up. Addison’s parents are Ryan and Julie Schnell of Schnellville. Stella will compete in the Regional Spelling Bee next year.
