Kimball International awarded 14 scholarships to nine high school seniors and five college undergraduates through the company’s annual college scholarship program.
The Bob Schneider Skilled Trades Scholarship was added to the program this year and two recipients were awarded the scholarship.
Kimball International has now awarded over $3.5 million in scholarships to offer educational opportunities to qualified young men and women.
The recipients were chosen by a committee entirely independent of Kimball International.
The 2019 recipients of the Kimball International Scholarship will each receive $2,000.
Sydney Bachman, daughter of Kimball Hospitality Jasper employee Dana Bachman and Keith Bachman, is a 2019 graduate of Jasper High School. She will attend the University of Evansville.
Kathryn Brewer, daughter of Kimball Brand employee Carolyn Brewer and Thomas Brewer, attends Indiana University-Purdue university at Indianapolis.
Isaac Herndon, son of KII Shared Services employee Kathy Herndon and Eric Herndon, attends Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
Erika Uebelhor, daughter of Kimball Brand employee Kent Uebelhor and Janet Uebelhor, attends the University of Southern Indiana.
Laurel Hubster, daughter of Kimball Brand employee Stacy Hubster and David Hubster, is a 2019 graduate of Jasper High School. She will attend Indiana University.
Logan Dodd, son of Kimball Brand employee Jan Dodd and Brian Dodd, is a 2019 graduate of Northeast Dubois High School. He will attend Indiana University.
MaKayla Fix, daughter of Kimball Hospitality Martinsville employee Jason Fix and Amy Fix, is a 2019 graduate of Patrick County High School. He will attend Patrick Henry Community College.
Sydney Faber, daughter of National Non-Manufacturing employee Jennifer Faber and Daniel Faber, graduated in 2018 from The Pennington School. She will attend Vanderbilt University.
Mitchell Tobin, son of National Non-Manufacturing employee Dan Tobin and Lana Tobin, attends Purdue University.
Sara Haas, daughter of KII Shared Services employee Stephanie Haas and Allen Haas, is a 2019 graduate of Jasper High School. She will attend Ball State University.
Jordan Sprinkle, daughter of National Santa Claus employee Lisa Sprinkle, is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University. She will attend the University of Southern Indiana.
Isabelle Kyle, daughter of KII Shared Services employee Shellie Kyle and Greg Kyle, is a 2019 graduate of Signature School. She will attend the University of Alabama.
Haley Schroeder, daughter of KII Shared Services employee Julie Schroeder and Terry Schroeder, is a 2019 graduate of Jasper High School. She will attend Western Kentucky University.
Nathan Hamilton, son of National Non-Manufacturing employee Rob Hamilton and Lisa Hamilton, is a 2019 graduate of Forest Park High School. He will attend Indiana Univeristy-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
The 2019 recipients of the Bob Schneider Skilled Trades Scholarship each will receive up to $2,000.
Derek Brunsman, son of Donovan Brunsman, is a 2019 graduate of Southridge High School. He will attend Vincennes University.
Zhenya Salmon, son of Larry and Tamara Salmon, attends Vincennes University Jasper Campus.
