Bryn Johnson, 7, left, and her friend, Hannah Schnarr, 7, both of Jasper, play with slime they bought from another booth during Kids’ Day on the Courthouse Square in Jasper on Saturday. Kids’ Day is an event for children that allows them to set up booths to sell snacks, crafts and games. This is the second year Bryn and her mother, Megan Johnson, have set up a booth. “It’s good for her to see what goes into it, to plan,” Megan said. “It offers a lot of learning possibilities for them. It’s a good experience.”

Girl Scouts Abby Robinson, 12, left, Katie Ruschau, 12, and Katie's mother, troop leader Melissa Tuscany, hang bandanas at their booth during Kid's Day on the Courthouse Square in Jasper on Saturday. Girl Scout Troop 570 set up booths as a fundraiser and as an opportunity to earn their run-your-own-business badge.

Alyssa Atkins, 8, left, Carsyn Peterson, 9, and Maggie Hanneman, 8, sell bracelets to Gianna Rangel, 6, and her mother, Emily Racicot, all of Jasper, during Kids' Day on the Courthouse Square in Jasper on Saturday. "We enjoy baking," Emily said. "She's very outspoken and outgoing, so I thought it would be a great event for her to do."
