Before the rain started Tuesday morning, a group of children participated in a game of kickball through the Jasper Parks and Recreation summer program. Davis Roos, 13, left, raced to home plate to try and get there before Brayden Weinel, 10, both of Jasper, during the game at Bohnert Park in Jasper.

Raya Dollaway of Huntingburg, 13, left, Keno Blair, 9, Ethan Thornburgh, 10, and Aiden Persohn, 10, all of Jasper, celebrated their team scoring a point during the kickball game at Bohnert Park in Jasper.

Keno Blair of Jasper, 9, waited for the ball at first base during the kickball game at Bohnert Park in Jasper. Keno dove to second base in the previous inning, causing his legs to be covered in dirt.

Davis Roos, 13, left, high-fived teammate Aiden Persohn, 9, both of Jasper, as he ran to home to score a point during the kickball game at Bohnert Park in Jasper.

After catching the ball, Ethan Thornburgh of Jasper, 10, tried to wipe the dirt off of his tongue during the kickball game at Bohnert Park in Jasper.

Aiden Persohn, 10, poured water over Davis Roos, 13, both of Jasper, in between innings of the kickball game at Bohnert Park in Jasper.
