Katelyn Oser and Travis LaMar

Katelyn Rose Oser and Travis Jay LaMar exchanged wedding vows on Aug. 12, 2017, at Santa Claus United Methodist Church in Santa Claus. Pastor Keith Chanley officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Denise and Keith Oser of Holland. The groom is the son of Barbara and Dennis LaMar of Evansville.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose an ivory lace mermaid gown with sheer lace panels on the side.

The bride chose friends Nicole Hopf, Lindsey Riehle and Kandace Batts as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Jamie Crick, Brooke Harris and MeKenzie Hilsmeyer, cousins of the bride, and Janelle Hachmeister, Joann Childress, Candi Gehlhausen and Ashley Schwoeppe, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Elsie Hughes, Lola Hughes and Bella Jochim, cousins of the groom.

The bridesmaids wore miss-matched Sorbet colored full-length gowns in chiffon with an illusion neckline and rushed waist band.

The groom chose friends Kipp Schutz, Jeorge Manley and Aaron Senzell as best men. Groomsmen were Corey Oser, Ryan McKain, Bryan McKain and Justine Hilsmeyer, cousins of the bride, and Quentin Cate, Aaron Fields and Adam Chester, friends of the groom. Junior groomsmen were Jaxon McKain, Houston Crick and Harrison Crick, cousins of the bride, and Micah Jochim, cousin of the groom.

Godparents of the bride are Theresa Oser and Tom Hilsmeyer. Godparents of the groom are Emily Hirsch and Paul Peak.

Scripture readers were Cheryl Hilsmeyer, Theresa Oser and Emily Hirsch.

Greeters were Rachel Butler, Emily Kinney, Jessica Oser and Emily Oser.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Lauren Sergesketter, Katie Kendall and Emma Mundy.

A reception was held at the Huntingburg Event Center.

The couple took a honeymoon to St. Lucia and is residing in Holland.

The bride is a graduate of Southridge High School, Huntingburg, and Vincennes University. She is a registered nurse and is employed by the Southwest Dubois School Corporation.

The groom is a graduate of William Henry Harrison High School, Evansville; Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio; and the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville. He is a teacher at Caze Elementary School and is employed by the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation.
