JASPER — Police said a juvenile suffered non-severe injuries when the bicycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a pickup truck Monday afternoon.
Dylan Anderson, 25, Jasper, was eastbound on 15th Street in a 2006 Dodge 1500 series truck when the 4:42 p.m. accident occurred at Main Street, according to the Jasper Police Department.
Police said a juvenile male who was southbound on Main Street failed to yield the right of way at an intersection stop sign, which resulted in the truck and the bike colliding.
The juvenile police declined to identify was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center for treatment of his non-severe injuries, according to authorities.
Damage was estimated at $1,500 to the Anderson Dodge and $100 to the bicycle.
