Junior Firefighter

During a visit to the downtown Jasper fire station Thursday morning, Trinity Tree House preschoolers had the opportunity to try on different fireman’s gear, practiced spraying the hose and learned about fire safety from Fire Chief Kenny Hochgesang. Hochgesang, left, helped preschooler Oaklie Buchta spray water during the visit. “They light up when they spray the hose and try on the coats,” Hochgesang said. “And they learn something while they’re here and then share that information with their parents.”
