The Honorable Mark R. McConnell, judge of the Dubois Superior Court and the Honorable Nathan A. Verkamp, judge of the Dubois Circuit Court, have jointly petitioned the Indiana Supreme Court for an emergency order in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The courts are open, but only conducting emergency hearings or if determined by the court to be an essential matter. Additionally, visitor restrictions have now been implemented at the Dubois County Courthouse. Therefore, do not appear for any previously scheduled hearing unless specifically directed by the Court or your attorney.
Should you have court business, you are requested to call in advance so that you may be directed to the appropriate agency.
This does not affect the supervision of defendants and offenders in the community. The courts continue to work closely with the Dubois County Sheriff, Dubois County Community Corrections and Dubois County Probation to ensure the safety of the community.
