Joseph T. Schnell, 56, Jasper
October 9, 2020Joseph T. Schnell, age 56, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 5:24 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2020, of Huntington's disease, in Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Joe was born in Huntingburg, IN, on November 15, 1963, to Thomas and Agnes (Clauss) Schnell. He married Annette Lescault on June 6, 2000, in Hawaii.
Joe was a 1982 graduate of Forest Park High School.
He retired from Krempp Lumber Company in Jasper, where he had worked for over 30 years.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.
He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, watching baseball and basketball, and was an avid Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Surviving are his wife, Annette Schnell, Jasper, Indiana, five sisters, Linda (Gerald "Jets") Kunz, Jasper, IN, Carol (Don) Klem, Birdseye, IN, Jane (Dick) Lange, Ferdinand, IN, Sharon (Don) Colvin, Patoka, IN, Barbie Schnell, Jasper, IN, one brother, Paul Schnell, Huntingburg, IN, one sister-in-law, Kathy Schnell, Jasper, IN, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death besides his parents is one brother, Donald R. Schnell.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.
A private memorial Mass will be held at a later date in Holy Family Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, Huntington's Disease Foundation, or a favorite charity.
