Joseph ‘Joe’ Robert Weikert, 88, West Baden Springs
October 22, 2019Joseph “Joe” Robert Weikert, 88, of West Baden Springs, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 20, 2019.

He was born in Dubois on June 13, 1931, to John W. and Elizabeth (Nolan) Weikert, the oldest of eight children. Joe married Katy Mitchell on April 10, 2011, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Patricia Newland; two brothers, James and George Weikert; and one sister, Annabelle Beck.
Joe is survived by his wife, Katy Weikert, West Baden Springs; one daughter, Deanne Burden (Gary), Evansville; two brothers, Harold Weikert (Geri), Dubois, and David “Buster” Weikert (Dolly), Crystal; two sisters, Martha Emge (Larry), Martinsville, and Mary Cobb, Mansfield, Texas; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Bro. Joe Crow and Rev. Darrel Land at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019, at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Crystal Community Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday, October 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick.
