John Aylsworth, 72, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center, Jasper.
He was born June 5, 1946, in Washington to Gilbert and Helen (Dickhaut) Aylsworth.
John married Patti Gail Wilson on September 2, 1972, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Aylsworth on October 19, 1993.
John is survived by his wife, Patti Gail Aylsworth, French Lick; his mother, Helen Aylsworth, French Lick; one son, Luke Aylsworth (Laura), French Lick; two daughters, Heidi Taylor (L.T.), Greencastle, and Lacy Flynn (John), French Lick; one sister, Mary Kay Aylsworth (Joyce), Indianapolis; his mother-in-law, Maxine Meade, French Lick; and four grandchildren.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Rev. Doug Finney at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 23, at the Springs Valley High School Gymnasium, French Lick. A private committal service will follow in Ames Chapel Cemetery, Paoli, Indiana.
Friends may call Saturday, December 22, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Springs Valley High School Auditorium, French Lick, Indiana. There will be no visitation on Sunday prior to the service.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service in French Lick.
