Joe Mehringer of Avon passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the age of 59.
He was born on August 12, 1958.
He attended Indiana University in Bloomington where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design in 1981 and met his wife, Sue, of 33 years. He then received a bachelor degree in Business from IUPUI in 1984 before working for United Airlines, Avon Community School Corporation and Jasper Engine Transmissions.
Joe loved woodworking, tinkering with antiques and most of all, his family.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughters, Sasha, 23, and Madison, 20. Joe also leaves behind his sister, Carol Giesler of Jasper; and brother, Steve Mehringer of Evansville, as well as nephews and a niece.
Services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday March 7, 2018, at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon, with visitation from 3 to 6 p.m. before the Service.
