Jimmy John’s franchise purchased for Jasper

From Local Sources

JASPER — According to a spokesperson with Jimmy John’s corporate office, a Jimmy John’s franchise has been purchased for a location on West Sixth Street in Jasper.

The spokesperson didn’t have an exact address besides West Sixth Street, but signs at both entrances to Family Video at 607 W. Sixth St. indicate that Jasper Lumber Company is doing work on a Jimmy John’s at that location, likely in the space that formerly housed Marco’s Pizza.

The spokesperson said the project is still in the blueprint phase and no construction or opening dates have been set.

Jimmy John’s has offered gourmet sandwiches that are “fresh made fast” since 1983.

The restaurant’s all-natural meats are “sliced in every store, every day,” and side choices include cookies, the franchise’s own Jimmy Chips and jumbo dill pickles.

Jimmy John’s offers dine-in or delivery.
