Father Guy Mansini, OSB, witnessed the marriage vows of Jessica Lindauer of St. Meinrad and Ryan Mehling of Huntingburg at 1 p.m. CDT Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013. The ceremony was held in St. Isidore Catholic Church in Bristow.
Linda and Kelvin Lindauer of St. Meinrad and Jane and Richard Mehling of Huntingburg are parents of the couple.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose her sisters, Megan and Amber Lindauer of St. Meinrad, as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Audrey Mehling of Huntingburg, sister of the bridegroom; Christine Himsel of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Tina Verkamp of Ferdinand, cousins of the bride; and Kendra Mullis of Crandall, friend of the couple. Flower girl was Preslie Jochem of Ferdinand, cousin of the bride.
Best man for his brother was Matthew Mehling of Huntingburg. Groomsmen were Chad Vonderheide of Huntingburg, cousin of the bride; Chris Rahman of Birdseye, cousin of the bridegroom; and Jesse Foll of St. Anthony and T.J. Schwartz of Jasper, friends of the couple. Josh Verkamp of Ferdinand, cousin of the bride, and Courtney Begle of Huntingburg, friend of the couple, were ushers. Jayden Verkamp of Ferdinand, godchild of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the St. Anthony Community Center.
The couple is residing in Ferdinand after a wedding trip to Destin, Fla.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Perry Central High School and a 2011 graduate of Vincennes University Jasper Campus with an associate degree. She is a pharmacy technician at Dale Pharmacy. Mr. Mehling graduated from Forest Park High School, Ferdinand, in 2005 and is a truck driver for Tim Mehling Trucking.
