Jeraldine “Jerry” Myers, 85, formerly of Otwell, died Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born in Iva on August 22, 1934, to Verner and Susan (Powell) Gray. She married V. Wayne “Gravy” Myers on October 20, 1952.
She worked as a homemaker and attended Petersburg Nazarene Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gravy; three daughters, Janice (Rex) Green of Ellenton, Florida, Wanda (Roger) Craig of Jacksonville, Florida, and Donna (Dean) Harris of Otwell; one son, Kenny Wayne (Kathy) Myers of Otwell; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Jim (Mary) Gray, Bill (Martha) Gray, Bob (Rose) Gray, and John (Mary) Gray; and sisters, Kathleen (Fred) Hanebutt and Martha Kays.
She was preceded in death by son, David Scotty Myers; and sister, Mary Jane Ulmet.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg. Pastor Clark Gray officiating.
Visiting hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019, at Harris Funeral Home, and continuing on Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time.
Burial will take place at McClure Cemetery in Algiers.
