Purple and turquoise tulle bows marked the pews of St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony as Jenna Lindauer and Zach Hochgesang were married Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013. Deacon Ken Johanning witnessed the rites at 1 p.m.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Kathy Lindauer, 8070 S. State Road 162, Ferdinand. Mr. Hochgesang is the son of Rick and Jenny Hochgesang of St. Anthony and Kevin and Tammy Heckel of Lamar.
Traci Catt was organist. Hayleigh Hopf sang “The Rose,” “Mama’s Song,” “A Thousand Years,” “From This Moment” and “God Bless the Broken Road.”
Jill Jarrett of Texas, sister of the bride, and Chelsey Hill of Mariah Hill, cousin of the bride, were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Felicia Opel of Huntingburg, Kendra Welp of Tennessee, Bethany Adams of Dubois and Nicole Braunecker of Florida, friends, and Kereston Hochgesang of St. Anthony, sister of the bridegroom. Claire Heckel of Lamar, sister of the bridegroom, was junior bridesmaid. Kenley Frick of Ferdinand, cousin of the bride, and Kaylee Opel of Huntingburg and Lexi Gehlhausen of Dubois, friends of the couple, were flower girls.
Mr. Hochgesang chose a friend, Jace Rasche, as best man. Groomsmen were Lucas Kersteins, Kendrick Knierium, Jared Huff and Mitch Atkins, all of St. Anthony and friends of the bridegroom; Matt Hill of Mariah Hill, a cousin; and Jason Jarrett of Texas, brother-in-law of the bride. Collin Hochgesang of St. Anthony and Trey Heckel of Lamar, brothers of the bridegroom, were ushers. Ring bearer was Bryson Frick of Ferdinand, cousin of the bride.
Mr. and Mrs. Lindauer gave their daughter in marriage. The bride chose an A-line, strapless gown of white organza with lace pleats and beading.
The bridesmaids were attired in floor-length gowns of grey chiffon with one-shoulder straps of grey rosettes.
A reception was held at the Ferdinand Community Center in Ferdinand.
The couple is at home in St. Anthony after a honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica.
The bride and bridegroom are graduates of Forest Park High School in Ferdinand. The bride is employed at Styline Logistics, and the bridegroom is employed by DMI.
