Jeeps roar against Washington Catholic

Northeast Dubois 79, Washington Catholic 14: The Jeeps (2-0) scored more points (18) in the first quarter than the Cardinals did the entire game (14). They managed to get four players into double digits — sophomore Colby Pieper, with a game-high of 18, junior Logan Mehringer with 14, senior Reece Bauer with 13 and junior Lane Knies with 11. Northeast Dubois out-rebounded Washington Catholic, 35-20, committed 15 fewer turnovers and had 26 assists compared to two for the Cardinals. The Jeeps will be back at it today at home against Shoals.
