The Northeast Dubois girls basketball team announced their season-ending awards at the team’s banquet on Monday.
The MVP award was given to both Adi Denu and Tyla Rasche as they helped lead the Jeeps to their first sectional championship since 2013. Denu was also awarded the field goal percentage award (43 percent), defensive award and the C.A.R.D.S. award while Rasche received the leading scorer award (279 total points, 11.6 average).
Kortney Quinn was awarded the assist award (2.1 apg) and most improved, Alex Dodson was awarded the rebounding trophy (6.1 rpg), blocked shots (41 total blocks) and split the mental attitude award with Clare Mangin. Mangin also recieved the free throw award (74 percent). Madison Cave took home the frosh-soph award for her immediate contributions to the Jeeps varsity lineup.
