Jeeps advance to sectional championship

Northeast Dubois is moving on to Saturday's Springs Valley sectional championship. The Jeeps pulled off a 3-0 sweep against Orleans. The sets were 25-15, 25-21 and 25-13 Saturday in French Lick. Northeast Dubois will either take on Cannelton or the host Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. for the championship.
Heritage Hills eliminated
Heritage Hills was swept by Evansville Memorial, who fell, 3-0, in the Mount Vernon Sectional. The Patriots lost, 25-17, 25-22 and 25-17.
Forest Park eliminated
Forest Park also fell in a sweep, 3-0, against Linton-Stockton in the semifinals of the Eastern Greene Sectional. The Rangers dropped the three sets, 25-10, 25-16 and 25-14.
